Dr. Daniel Jankowski: Bettering the world, one smile at a time.
Dr. Daniel Jankowski grew up in Utah where he was raised to act and speak with sincerity, and to make meaningful contributions to his community. He attended Brigham Young University, achieving a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
While designing a neonatal ventilator for village hospitals in developing countries, Dr. Jankowski realized he loved working directly with people in a healthcare capacity rather than designing products. Right around the time he was reconciling with this realization, he met Dr. Vogel, whose example of indiscriminate and compassionate care — even for patients with little in terms of physical health or temporal accolades — was instrumental in his decision to become a dentist.
Dr. Jankowski completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He and his family’s long relationship with Dr. Butler has made the transition to the new office smooth and enjoyable. Dr. Jankowski loves helping people smile, and has built comfort and respect into the continued mission of Sunrise Dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jankowski enjoys spending time with his wife and their three wonderful children. He is also an avid hobbyist who plays guitar and sings, gets creative in the kitchen, and has a skill for woodworking.
